PRIVACY POLICY
Declaration on the duty to inform
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.
Contact with us
If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
Data storage
We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process, for marketing purposes and for subsequent contract processing, the webshop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner in the form of cookies, as well as the name, address and credit card number of the buyer. In addition, your data will also be stored by us for the purpose of contract processing. The data you provide is required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude the contract with you without this data. Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of the necessary payment data to the processing banking institutions / payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods, for internal processing purposes for organisation / administration and to our tax advisor to fulfil our tax obligations. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored at least until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored at least until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the GDPR.
Use of web fonts
External fonts, Google Fonts, are used on this website. Google Fonts is a service of Google Inc (‘Google’). These web fonts are integrated by a server call, usually a Google server in the USA. This tells the server which of our web pages you have visited. The IP address of the browser of the end device of the visitor to this website is also stored by Google. You can find more information in Google's privacy policy, which you can access here: google.com/fonts and google.com/policies/privacy
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.
We use the Facebook Conversion API on our website. This sends data such as email address, name, address, etc., which the user enters on our site, directly to Facebook. This helps us to customise our offer to the user. We use the Wordpress PixelYourSite plug-in (https://www.pixelyoursite.com/) to implement the Facebook Conversion API on our website
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (‘Google’). Google Analytics also uses cookies to analyse how our visitors use our website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to analyse how you use our website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties on request, where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. You can find more information about the technology used by Google at www.google.com/analytics.
Use of Google Remarketing
We also use Google's remarketing function. This allows us to show you personalised advertising on suitable advertising spaces on other websites based on the interests you have shown on our website. This option is limited to a maximum of 18 months. You can find more information on this in Google's privacy policy. You can prevent interest-based advertising by installing this browser plugin.
YouTube
We provide numerous instructional videos on our websites, which we have also published on YouTube. Like most websites, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about the viewers of the videos. Among other things, YouTube uses cookies to collect reliable video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness. Further details on the use of cookies by YouTube can be found in YouTube's privacy policy.
Facebook
We use plug-ins from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc (‘Facebook’), on our website. When you access web pages on our website that have such a plug-in, a connection to the Facebook servers is established and the plug-in is displayed on the website by sending a message to your browser. This tells the Facebook server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in to Facebook as a member, Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When you use the plug-in functions (for example, when you click the ‘Like’ button or post a comment), this information is also assigned to your Facebook user account, unless you log out before using the plug-in. Further information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this regard and the options for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook's privacy policy.
Web analysis
Our website uses functions of the following web analysis services (within the EU): KLICK-TIPP Ltd, Digistore24 GmbH, ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich and Webinaris GmbH as well as the following web analysis services (outside the EU): Google Analytics, Leadpages and Drip Inc, Facebook Inc, YouTube, LLC, Twitter Inc, ManyChat, Inc, Proof Technologies, LLC, Automattic Inc, NetDNA, LLC, HostGator.com LLC, Wizard Internet Solutions, Nexmo Inc, Zendesk, Inc and Webmayhem, Inc. cookies are used for this purpose, which enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider's server and stored there. You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored. The relationship with the web analytics providers is based on modal clauses of the European Commission (e.g. in the case of the USA: ‘Privacy Shield’). Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Depending on the provider, user data is stored for a certain period of time.
Contract data processing
We have concluded a corresponding contract with each provider regarding the procedure for commissioned data processing. This ensures that our service provider complies with the strict requirements of data protection law in all respects when sending the newsletter. This also ensures that your data is only stored within the EU with a high level of protection. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Newsletter
You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. To do this, we need your email address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process information provided voluntarily, such as your name, areas of interest, date of birth, postcode, etc. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time with a click within each e-mail.
Your rights
In principle, you have the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, cancellation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority. You can reach us using the contact details given above and the contact form. We would like to politely point out that these rights may be subject to conditions, which we will insist are met.
What else do we use your data for?
We may also inform you about our services at regular or irregular intervals. In this respect, we refer to Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, according to which processing is authorised to protect our legitimate interests, unless your interests prevail. We derive our legitimate interest from Recital 47 of the GDPR, which states, among other things: ‘The processing of personal data for the purposes of direct marketing may be regarded as processing for the purposes of a legitimate interest.’ In view of the fact that you have voluntarily provided us with your email, the advertising approach is in our legitimate interest. You have the option to object to the use of your data for advertising purposes at any time by sending an informal message, for example to the above-mentioned contact details (‘Who are we?’), or by using any unsubscribe link provided. Processing for these purposes ends with your objection. If there is no further reason for storage, we will then also delete the data. In this context, we would like to point out once again that you can generally object to the use of your personal data for advertising, market or opinion research purposes at any time by sending an informal message to one of the above-mentioned contact channels.
